The love letter I wrote to myself (with the help of others during my travels)

I love traveling. There have been many times I wanted to share more about the experiences I’ve had through my travels—but then I paused and asked myself, “Does the world need another travel blogger?” And my answer has always been “no.”
By no means is this to downplay the role of travel influencers—I totally get that everyone’s different. It’s more so an answer I have for myself, and the roles I feel genuinely called to embody. Another part of it is that I never want to come across as showy or performative. I treasure authenticity, and anything that feels like it goes against that value simply doesn’t make the cut.
But this is also true: I am who I am today because these experiences have shaped me deeply. Not in ways that TV or textbooks ever could, but in ways that only experience and contemplation can.

Each time I travel, it feels like entering a new, unexpected portal—shedding old layers, being born anew, and returning closer to the real core of my being. It feels like meeting strangers you were destined to meet, at the right time, in the right place, even if only for a brief moment.
Etéreo was like that for me—not only for its serene beauty, but especially for the people I met. It wasn’t just a retreat—it was a page-turner, an equalizer, a mirror reflecting where I am in my own journey. More than anything else, it was a love letter I wrote to myself, with the help of others 🙃
I don’t like big announcements, but I do hope to share more of my travel journeys in the future. I hope to inspire more people to travel not for the bucket list or the hype, but for the opportunity to learn that love isn’t bound by shared backgrounds, beliefs, or identities—it’s boundless.
My trip to Etéreo started simply because I needed a break, but it became another shift in perspective. I realized I can still share with authenticity—and by sharing, I’m honoring and supporting the people and places I’m grateful to have encountered.

Ommar, Hugo, Yenner—thank you for making my stay so soul-fulfilling. Thank you for making my wishes come true, for being so attentive to my needs, for bringing out the artist in me, and for showing me so much love 🫶
