What if you have a disability?

Anyone in this world wishes to be born healthy, but if you have a disability, you have nothing to feel guilty about. Keep holding on to your faith.

Keep in mind that before you were born, your mother had to experience excruciating pain from the moment she started carrying you in her womb until she gave birth to you. However, the biggest pain for a mother is to see her child being born with a disability, and not "like others"! But my dear, God always follows his law of fairness: he never gives anyone everything, and never takes everything from anyone. Usually, people with disabilities are those who possess “naturally born” qualities, which ordinary people take time to achieve — great sensitivity, good virtue, perseverance, high self-esteem, a great ability to survive, and a strong desire to overcome yourself.

The world has seen many admirable examples of people with disabilities who have these qualities. John Nash (born in the U.S.) is one of them — he's suffered from acute paranoid schizophrenia and has never given up on fighting against it. Later, he became a mathematician and won the Nobel Prize in economics in 1994. Another example is Nick Vujicic (born in Australia), who was born without limbs. There were times when he felt desperate; however, with resilience and perseverance, he gradually discovered his potential and became the founder of Life Without Limbs — an organization for people with disabilities. Nick Vujicic is not only an inspirational speaker for people with disabilities but also instills faith and energy in life for millions of healthy individuals all around the planet. In Vietnam, we have Nguyen Son Lam. Due to the long-term sequelae of Agent Orange after the American war, he had a skeletal deformity that caused his limbs to become weakened, with his body weight of less than 27kg and a height of about 90cm. However, he remained resilient and persistent, and with his extraordinary energy, he pushed all "boundaries" and became the first person with wooden crutches to successfully conquer Fansipan Peak — the roof of Indochina — in 2011. Lam, at the same time, got accepted by two universities, then later became a professional speaker and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shine Communication and Training JSC.

There are many, many other spectacular examples of people with disabilities who

are successful. They may have different lives; they may have different types of disabilities, but they are all loved; they all have resilience, perseverance, and the efforts to grow and live to the fullest.

When talking about disability, people often think of people who have a partial defect in their body parts; or a partial decline in mental, physical, intellectual, and sensory functions, but the problem does not lie in people with disabilities. In fact, people who look healthy in the facade but carry a broken soul are sadly those who have the most severe and tragic disabilities.

That's it, my dear! If you are a person with disabilities, then God will definitely give you privileges that other ordinary people cannot have. Be confident and proud of yourself —you will see that your presence in this world is already a miracle!
