Life is unfair, so what?

You find yourself no longer insisting that fairness exists. At least, not in one lifetime. You’ve seen enough already to know that believing it does wouldn’t make you wise—it makes you naive.
But then what?
Do you sit there waiting for life to even things out? Fighting every battle until it burns you out? Keeping score, hoping fairness will eventually catch up to you?
It won’t.
Not in the way you expect.
And that’s the golden portal where things begin to shift.

When others think they can bring you down, they forget that crisis is exactly when you bloom. Being the underdog is exactly where you thrive, even if it doesn’t feel like it at first.
When crisis arrives, it doesn’t come to break you. It comes to cleanse the path for something much bigger on its way to you.
You may not see it in the moment. You may feel like everything is falling apart, and that you’re the victim of it all.
But don’t let it fool you.

Crisis strips things down to what’s real. It doesn’t ask for permission. It simply arrives, and in doing so, it forces you to meet parts of yourself you wouldn’t have met otherwise.
It isn’t destruction. It’s a catalyst for your next level of growth, and a reboot of your innate power. It takes away what you thought you needed so you can finally receive the gift you never expected.
Think about it.
Growth, especially in a spiritual sense, doesn’t happen in moments of indulgence or ease. It happens in the dark night of the soul, when you search for light, only to realize it’s been within you all along.

So yes, life is unfair.
But it’s not against you.
Sometimes it’s creating the exact conditions you need to become who you’re meant to be, even when it’s a tough pill to swallow.
That pill heals you,
from the inside out.
You see?
You’re still here.
You can make it more just. You can make it easier for those who follow the trail you’ve blazed, make it possible for others to believe that integrity and success aren’t conflicting forces but can coexist.
Because while we’re here, we can all make things better 🕊
