Love, and you will let go.
Think of it like breathing. If you keep holding onto the air and resist breathing out, you will suffocate. You need oxygen to stay alive, but you can’t survive by holding onto a breath forever.
It’s the act of breathing in and out that keeps you alive.
Inhale: you fill yourself with love.
Exhale: you give that love the freedom to fly.
Your mind convinces you that you want to be loved, and your heart whispers that you want to feel loved. But your soul knows best—you won’t find either until you truly become love.
You need to become love.
Embrace impermanence for its own sake. Everyone else in your life may come and go like the air. Some may stay longer than others, but in the end, you are the only constant in your life from the moment you are born until the moment you die. With every breath you take, you may still feel the presence of the one you love in the air, but all you can do is keep breathing.
All you can do is fill yourself with love and give that love the freedom to fly.
Focus on your breath.
Be present.
Trust that what is meant for you will always find you. No matter how long it takes, if it’s meant to be, it will eventually be with you. If it’s not meant to be, no matter how much you want to force it, it won’t.
Let go so you can turn over a new leaf and attract what’s truly meant for you, just as you need to breathe out so that you can breathe in again—that’s what keeps you alive.
Love,
in its purest form,
without condition, without expectation, without manipulation,
you will be able to let them go and find yourself left with the purest love.
