Will this hard time ever end?

Updated: Nov 17, 2025

It’s a question many of us carry quietly. Sometimes we hide it, sometimes we laugh it off with sarcasm, but we feel it deeply—that longing for a finish line, for a moment where life finally breathes with us instead of against us.

We’ve heard comforting sayings like “sau cơn mưa trời lại nắng” (after rain comes sunshine) or “sau cơn mưa mới thấy cầu vồng” (after every storm, there is a rainbow).

But life doesn’t always follow those clear cycles.

Life doesn’t promise.

The treasure after the storm isn’t always the rainbow—sometimes, the real gift is what it washed away, what remained, or a quiet realization that the storm has already passed. Just like the sun doesn’t always wait for the rain to be over—sometimes, it shines right through the rain because light doesn’t wait for permission to appear.

Maybe endings don’t always look the way we expect.

Hard times don’t end because life suddenly becomes easy.

They end because you become someone who can do what once felt impossible.

It’s never just the external situation changing. The deeper shift is internal—the slow, steady strengthening of the part of you that keeps rising even when everything feels heavy. The version of you who once felt powerless becomes someone who can carry what used to crush them. And in that moment, the season shifts, even if nothing outside you seems different.

No one tells you that the ending you’re waiting for isn’t always an event.

Sometimes, the ending is a transformation.

It’s when something inside you quietly clicks—when you think differently, choose differently, respond differently. When you notice the storm is still there, but it no longer holds the same power over you. When you can look at what once terrified you and think, “I got this.”

You didn’t escape it.

You grew past it.

The real invitation isn’t always a direct answer but a shift in the question. Not when will this be over, but how will you transcend the ending and the beginning?

Because one day, without knowing exactly when it happened, you’ll look back and realize the stormy season didn’t end with a rainbow or a rescue.

It ended when you became the version of yourself who could walk through the rain without losing your light.

Not because life changed,

but because you did.

Because you grew beyond the ending.

Because what starts in the mind can be ended in the mind.
