"I want to make money fast so I can retire my mom… She’s sacrificed a lot for me and our family."
- How old are you? - How old do you think I am? - You must be a few years older than me... so I’m guessing you were born in 2000? - Haha! You’re very sweet. So, I noticed you were reading. - Ahhh… yes. I want to be successful, so this book caught my interest. - I see. What does being successful mean to you? - I want to make lots of money and get rich quickly. - Interesting. Any reason it’s top of mind for you right now? - I want to make money fast so I can retire my mom… She’

What if I’ll never make it?
What if they were right when they said you’d never make it? What if you start believing it? What if you’re right that you don’t have what it takes? What if you fail again, and again, and again? What if you’re just wasting your time? What if everything you’ve built up to this point amounts to nothing in the end? But what if these questions are just illusions—that they’re mere projections of the idea in your head that “making it” means reaching a fixed destination? Getting stuc

Why can’t I let go of this negative energy?
It’s frustrating, isn’t it? We hear ‘let go’ all the time, but ironically, that phrase can be misleading, leaving us feeling stuck because we’re not sure how to let go of the energy we carry. But what if it’s not really about trying to let go at all? What we often forget is that energy isn’t an object. It’s not something we can simply throw away or turn off like a light switch. Energy doesn’t just disappear—it shifts. It transforms and can be transformed. Think of energy lik

Why is it so hard for me to get back to where I was?
When I was little, I used to be so flexible that when I did a backbend, my feet could easily touch my nose. I was always the appointed ‘model’ for the class. I thought I’d become a dancer when I grew up (don’t get me wrong, I thought I’d become many other things too 😬)—it’s natural to imagine continuing something when you’re good at it. But that thought didn’t last long. I had to quit and focus on school when I entered third grade. Twenty years later, I never practiced again

Dear Class of 2024
Dear Class of 2024, Instead of a commencement speech, I have a story to share with you. Two years ago, I found myself stuck in a place of profound discontentment, trying to break free from old patterns and desperately yearning to see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. In fact, the tunnel seemed so dark and long that I started to question my own optimism, which is rare for someone who tends to look on the bright side of things, like me. I longed for a light. I longed

Year of the Cat in review
To me, this Year of the Cat feels like a crash course. Perhaps it’s the most intense year that I’ve been through with so much to learn not only about life in general but also about myself. So much so that it tests my limits and helps me learn the art of acceptance. So much so that it teaches me what I’m made of and brings me the answers I didn’t know I would need. So much so that I surrender to everything I can’t control and laser-focus on what I can. So much so that I intern
